In Where is the Cat?, written by A.J. Gillard and illustrated by Jennifer Mizgala, rhyming text describes where to find Shroom, the evasive cat, as he goes through the day. It starts with "He's there on the floor, the floor by the door" and proceeds with him on a pillow that's yellow, by a square chair, and a plant with ants, to name just a few of the places before it ends with "He's taking a nap, a nap on my lap."
Anna loved this book, and so did I. It's a fun, easy to read book.
